Brandon Nutting, PhD is the Vice President of Data Science and Innovation at MVP. He joined MVP in March of 2020. During his time at MVP, Brandon built out the Data Science team establishing a research agenda to construct the most accurate and transparent valuation methodology. Prior to MVP, Brandon was a professor at The University of Nebraska where he conducted research at the intersection of sports media and social psychology. He has been recognized for his teaching and his research has been published in numerous academic journals. Brandon has been working with the NHL on the DED and measurement initiative including providing education to the clubs and partner brands.
