Kyle Love is the Vice President of Arena Technology at Barclays Center, home of the Brooklyn Nets, New York Liberty, and NetsGC. In his role, Kyle oversees all arena technology infrastructure and operations around AV, Broadcast, LED, Networking, WiFi, Motion Content Creation, Theatrical and Architectural Lighting, IPTV, and Scoring & Timing.
Kyle joined Barclays Center in July 2013, less than a year after its Grand Opening in 2012. Initially serving as Manager, LED & Technical Systems, he focused on the arena’s robust LED infrastructure, highlighted by the unique Oculus plaza marquee. From there, Kyle eventually moved up to the roles of Director and Senior Director of Facilities Presentation, in which he was charged with managing many of the disciplines he oversees today.
During his time at Barclays Center, Kyle has played a pivotal role in the design, integration, and commissioning of dozens of high-profile capital projects, including the arena’s exclusive premium space known as Crown Club, two large exterior-facing transparent LED displays, three interactive way-finding kiosks, multiple volumetric camera technologies, numerous player tracking systems, compound renovations for Nets, Liberty, and NetsGC, and much more.
Prior to Barclays Center, Kyle spent more than four years as Video Production / Game Entertainment Manager with the Wilmington Blue Rocks, formerly the Advanced-A Affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. Like most jobs in Minor League Baseball, this position produced invaluable experience in all facets of the business, from content creation, scoreboard production, and social media management to ticket and sponsorship sales, tarp-pulling, and even the occasional mascot performance.
Kyle holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland at College Park, and as a South Jersey native originally, he is a staunch supporter of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. Currently he resides on Long Island in Dix Hills with his wife Amanda, daughter Gabriella, and son Leonardo.
