Tim Deschamps currently leads strategic partnerships with Sports Federations at Meta. In this role, he works with sports federations spanning motorsport, combat, racket sport, fitness, and soccer partners, to optimize their presence across Meta’s family of apps and technologies. Tim focuses on advancing partners’ business goals including audience development, content monetization, sponsorships activation, and fan engagement innovation through the adoption and maximization of Meta products. Most recently, Tim played an instrumental role in the successful launch of Meta’s newest platforms across the sports federations landscape, including Channels, a one-to-many way for sports organizations to share updates and engage their core fanbase globally on WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook, and Threads, a new home for public conversation. Tim came to Meta after a run at TelevisaUnivision where he worked with brand and league partners on cross-platform branded content across the network’ sports portfolio and accompanied the launch of the world's largest Spanish-language streaming platform, ViX. Prior to moving to the media side of the industry, Tim built and grew Colosseum Sport, a sports innovation agency connecting sports organizations with disruptive technologies, and established its Sports Tech Nation Summit as one of the leading sports tech festivals globally. Tim is a graduate of SciencesPo Paris and lives in New York, NY, with his wife, Daimiris.
