Evan Shugerman currently works as the Director of Sports Partnerships at Meta. In the role, he leads a team responsible for partnering with top professional athletes, student athletes, sports media talent, and sports creators across Meta's product portfolio. Through multiple leadership positions at Meta, Shugerman and his teams have contributed to the success and cultural relevance of Meta products, including the launch and growth of several key initiatives such as Instagram Stories, Instagram Reels, and Threads.

Prior to Meta, Evan served in multiple sports marketing roles at Red Bull, responsible for executing the strategic marketing direction and tailoring global brand initiatives to the US market to increase revenue, media consumption, brand relevance and affinity. Shugerman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA, and currently resides in Los Angeles.
