Name
Commissioner's Corner: One-on-One with Gary B. Bettman
Description

Gary Bettman has led the NHL since 1993, making him the longest-serving commissioner of any North American pro sports league. In that time, the league has expanded from 26 to 33 teams and average team valuations have increased from $163 million in 2004 to $1.31 billionĀ  today. The NHL has also had its share of hardships, including three owner-led lockouts, a rash of concussion and CTE issues and other scandals. Bettman, however, has navigated it all and is here to share wisdom gleaned over his past thirty years at the helm.
