Currently a Managing Director at alternative investment firm 26North, Cristina Alesci is a seasoned adviser to founders and leadership teams across business strategy, public affairs, brand positioning, reputational risk management and crisis communications.

An accomplished former print and television journalist, Cristina leverages her storytelling expertise and relationships to drive results at pivotal moments, including major acquisitions and business transformations. At 26North, Cristina leads communications and advises its founder, Josh Harris, a private equity leader, philanthropist, and sports team owner.

Cristina previously served as Chobani's Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, leading a team of over 30 professionals in external and internal communications, government relations, community engagement, and social impact. She was crucial in positioning Chobani as a leading consumer products innovator ahead of a planned IPO. She led a cross-functional team that prepared the company to comply with ESG standards set by the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board.

Cristina began her career in the newsroom, most recently at CNN, covering politics and finance, including the 2020 U.S. presidential election, tax, economic and banking policy, and business. She has interviewed many of the country's leading business executives and administration officials, including JPMorgan Chase & Co. CEO Jamie Dimon, former Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and hedge fund manager Bill Ackman.

Before joining CNN, Cristina was Bloomberg Television's Deals reporter, where her market-leading coverage of global mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and the private equity industry was featured across print and broadcast media.

Cristina holds a B.A. with honors in Criminal Justice from Pace University and an M.A. with honors from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY. She is also a board member of the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism CUNY Foundation.
