As Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Travis Sampson leads technology across all BSE Global properties and teams, including BSE Global’s corporate offices and the HSS Training Facility in Industry City, Barclays Center, Brooklyn Nets, New York Liberty and their NBA G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets, and the Nets’ NBA 2K League team, NetsGC.
Respected as a credible voice in aligning business tactics with sound technical strategy and creatively embracing the upside of innovation while minimizing risk, Sampson’s focus is pushing BSE Global as a continued industry leader in team and venue technology. Sampson leads strategy, formulation, development and cross-functional delivery of technology services within the organization. Sampson is also responsible for leading Broadcast Engineering and Technology teams at Barclays Center.
Prior to joining BSE Global, Sampson spent 7 years heading Technology for AEG Facilities at Barclays Center, where he led the venue design and technology integration team in 2012. Sampson’s career spans 20+ years in sports and entertainment, with a background in technology infrastructure, network design and implementation across multiple verticals including broadcast operations, cellular, cybersecurity, networking and wireless technology. Prior to joining AEG, he held technology management roles at the National Basketball Association and Viacom Media International.
